Car Donation Foundation d/b/a Vehicles For Veterans© is committed to protecting your privacy. We only use the information we collect about you to process inquiries, provide support, and upgrade our website and services.
We collect contact information and any feedback provided during the donation process. In addition, we use modern analytic and usability tracking methods to ensure that our website is as easy to use as possible. This includes the use of Google Analytics and possibly Google AdWords Conversion Tracking or any other web analytics service to improve our user experience. Our goal in all of this is to make our website easy to use and the donation process as simple as possible.
All personal information collected will be used to contact you to schedule your vehicle donation and mail any tax-deductible receipts. We may also contact you if a donation was started using our online donation form, but not completed. We do this to ensure our donation process is free of technical issues. We have no follow-up communication to opt-out of. We simply contact you during the donation process and mail a receipt when complete. We hope that you remember us when you’re ready to donate your next vehicle, and until you donate another vehicle, we will not contact you again.
Several of the forms on our site use a secure connection when sending information. The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypts (scrambles) all the information entered before it is transmitted over the Internet. Our web server is also subject to an intensive, daily security scan by McAfee SECURE™. Every day it is tested for possible personal information access, links to dangerous sites, phishing, and other online dangers. Furthermore, all the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access through encrypted login forms, strong passwords, and regular security patches and monitoring.
Vehicles For Veterans does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. Vehicles For Veterans may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will not include personally identifying information.
Vehicles For Veterans may release account information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of Vehicles For Veterans, our users, or others.
